I am pleased to announce that the long-awaited Feature with Michael Knott is finally up. Check it out. You may not have heard of him but he's worth checking out. Consider it my Christmas gift to all of you.
Sorry for being invisible. The Mike Knott interview has stalled. More when I have it, but the John Lurie interview has been completed and should be up soon. It's good stuff, if I do say so. I feel like I should mention that "All the Stupid Little Children" is still available and is right charming if I do say so myself.
Anyway, I'm still not likely to be popping around too much, but feel free to say hey or what have you, or, you know, continue to dig on the site.
Regular visitors to the lil' blog o' love have heard me rave about Michael Knott's work forever. Well, I'm happy (overjoyed, ecstatic, choose an applicable verb) to announce that Mike will be the next Featured guest here at Joe-Mammy.com. I know some of you may not be as familiar with him as you should be (you know who you are!) so over the next few days I'll be posting a few "get to know you" videos to introduce you to the greatness that is Mr. Knott.
First up, Mike's performance at the late, great Gene Eugene's tribute concert a few years back. Eat up!
First post of the ultra short month. There's some news on the horizon, but until that magical time presents itself let me say I was happy to see Tony Dungy finally get the ring he deserved. It's been said over and over, but if there were more guys in the world like Dungy (not just in the sports world) it would be a better world. Anyway, here's a little gem from Mike Knott from back in the day.
