Sick day...

If I really wanted to see that food again, I wouldn't have swallowed it in the first place. Anyway...
Today's bout with illness is actually a little less severe than has been the case lately (ie, I can stand...) so I've had the chance to a little (accent on little) tweaking with a project that I've been putting off for a while.

On a sudden urge a few months ago I agreed to remix a track for a guy I hadn't heard of before. The group Automate was looking for people to redo a track called secondsminutes. I listened to it and thought it was groovy, so, with a sense of hubris bubbling around in my gut (much like a more literal thing bubbling around today... ugh...) I said I'd take a crack at it. Jump ahead to this weekend when I actually started (sorry, dude...) playing with it. It's coming along and it's fun to toy around with stuff I haven't done before (more fun when... Well, you get the concept of me not being well...). Check out his site and send him some love

Speaking of being sick, the WB has cancelled Angel. Not exactly new news, I realize, but it still sucks. Especially since winners like 7th Heaven and the umpteen kajillion reruns of Elimidate they run here will no doubt be returning for years and years to come. Everything is wrong. Everything is sick. We're all gonna die...

Which is why you should check out the opening chapter to All Things Right and Beautiful on the fiction page, cuz just cuz the world sucks, doesn't mean you shouldn't pretend like it's all okay...
